Mold & CIRS
“Brain on fire” is more than a metaphor.
Fatigue that sleep can’t fix. Brain fog that makes familiar words disappear. Light that suddenly feels too bright. If your labs keep coming back normal while you keep getting worse, there may be a reason nobody has looked for yet.

Discover why mold is only the tip of the iceberg. Each part builds on the last through diagnosis and treatment. If you are new to CIRS, this is the path.
What CIRS actually is
Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS) is a multi-system condition that follows a deficient immune response to biotoxin exposure. It affects many systems at once, which is exactly why it gets missed: each symptom lands with a different specialist and none of them see the whole.
Biotoxins are microscopic particles, gasses, and chemicals released by living organisms, including bacteria, viruses, and fungi. That includes tick-borne infections and Lyme, not only mold.
Symptoms patients bring us
- Fatigue
- Light sensitivity
- Vertigo
- Brain fog
- Blurred vision
- Mood swings
- Headache
- Memory issues
80%
of CIRS patients are linked to biotoxin exposure in water-damaged buildings, which is why CIRS and mold are so often named together.
