Our Integrative Model

We practice a model of medicine that incorporates the standards of care in conventional medicine with the best diagnostic and clinical tools, technologies, research and resources from other fields of scientific inquiry and then combines these with a systems biology approach (also known as root cause analysis or Functional Medicine).

This Functional Medicine model helps us identify the critical imbalances that are at the root of an illness and then to address them one by one. This is patient-centered and individualized (not disease-centered and protocol driven) model of medicine similar to what is going on right now at the Cleveland Clinic’s Center for Functional Medicine.

This new paradigm is the future of medicine, available today.

Aging & Longevity Support Protocol: A Basic Primer

Over the past century, we have seen a significant increase in human life expectancy, primarily as a result of advances in the field of medicine and improvements in public health, such as environmental and food quality. With this increase in life expectancy, we have also seen an increased incidence of age-related chronic diseases. It is, therefore, important to consider factors and interventions that may not only increase longevity but support healthy aging.

Spotlight on the ReNew Food Plan

The ReNew Food Plan prescribed by a Functional Medicine practitioner is a therapeutic, short-term approach followed for a specific amount of time, often used as a first step in: Ridding the body of the most common foods that cause inflammation; Identifying food allergies, sensitivities, intolerances, and triggers; Eliminating foods with potentially addictive and harmful components; and Providing nutritional support for the body’s detoxification systems.
